Special thanks to Draycote Fishery Management for assisting in the event.
Autumn Pairs Boat Match on Sunday 4th October. Results to be announced.
The Winter Bank Pairs Match on Sunday 1st November
The final competition this season is the Winter Bank Pairs Match on Sunday 1st November. This replaces the Spring Pairs missed under lock down.
Please ring the Lodge and pre-book and pay before Sunday. I have asked the lodge to reserve bank places, but it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment, only 30 cars are allowed around the perimeter for bank fishing.
We are suggesting that after signing in at the lodge and collecting your ticket you drive to Toft Shallows car park 1 at 8.30 where you can set up safely away from the general public and you are able to socially distance.
The virtual draw will be done prior to Sunday and emailed out to you We will run the match from 9am till 4pm. Mark JJ will mark you as present on arrival at car park 1 and will record the number of fish caught at the end of the match.
Happy New Year to all! I hope you are keeping safe and well.
Here below, you will see photos of a very nice wood carving that Milan Rechtoric, David's father created as a Christmas gift for our club. Many thank Milan from everyone in the club.
Hope to see you all at Draycote once the lockdown is removed and the new season commences.
Cheers Mark JJ
