Draycote Fly-Fishers Association

Finally 12th April 2017 saw the fruition of last years ‘Project’  in raising funds for the ‘Wheelie Boat’. In the past there had been accidents/incidents with those amongst up who are infirm and have had difficulty getting into a boat for fishing.

The phonographs kindly contributed by Mark Johnson-Jones shows the unavailing of the new boat and as the pictures speak for themselves there is no need fpr explanation other than the elevator platform makes a significant difference to boarding a boat making it easier for wheel chair users to go fly fishing and those who find it difficult to get down into a boat.

2016 showed a concerted effort in raising money towards a specialised boat for the disabled.
